Pamela Darlene Harris "Frostie" Nelson

Pamela Darlene “Frostie” Harris Nelson, 59 of Ruther Glen, VA, died November 3, 2015 at home.  She was born December 30, 1956 in Manassas, VA.

She is survived by her husband Harold Albert Nelson, Jr.  They were married June 30, 2001.  She is also survived by her parents Leonard and Shirley Blocker, daughters Shann M. Dove (Christopher E.) and Jami S. Salamida (Joseph M.), step-daughters, Amber R. Clements and Heather E. Painter (Trey), step-son Joseph W. Nelson and daughter-in-law Mollie Cribbs.  She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren:  Emma, Isabella, Gabrielle, Joey, Michael, Hannah, Tommy, Ty, Lucas, Lizzie, and Caroline.  She is also survived by her siblings:  Sharon Taylor, Charles Roy Harris, Leonard F. Blocker, Jr., Ronald L. Blocker, Sr., Susan M. Winborne, Joseph A. Blocker and Valeri Harris Kibler.

Pamela attended Friendly High School.  She enjoyed crafting, dancing, and spending time playing with all of her grandchildren.  She was family oriented, passionate and loved with all her heart.  Her favorite scripture is John 11:25-26.

Pallbearers will be Lenny Blocker, Ronnie Blocker, Joe Blocker, Chuck Harris, Joe Salamida and Chris Dove.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 9, 2015 at the Lutheran Church of our Savior, Bryans Road, MD from 5-8 PM where services will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 11 AM.  Internment Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Sisters at Heart Breast Cancer Survivors of Charles County Maryland.
