Walter Patrick Yerkie

Walter Patrick Yerkie, 61, of Newburg, Maryland passed away suddenly on March 8, 2026.

He was born March 17, 1964.  He was the son of the late John W. Yerkie Jr. and the late Dorothy A. Yerkie, “Scoshie”.

Walter was a proud graduate of Gwynn Park High School. He dedicated his life to his family and helping others. He was loved by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Vincent M. Yerkie, sister Vinessa D. Corder and niece Jacklyn Kay Yerkie.

He is survived by his significant other Brenda Kay Perrie, sister Cindy Yerkie, brothers John Yerkie III and Jack Yerkie as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Memorial services will be private.
