Steven ‘Steve’ Kevin Steinhauser, 57, of Mechanicsville, Maryland, died Friday, July 18, 2025.  He was born June 19, 1968.

Steve was proceeded in death by his mother Margaret A. Steinhauser, his father Reinhard H. Steinhauser and brother Richard J. Steinhauser.

He is survived by his sisters Lori A. Weedon and Margaret S. Stortzum, his brother Martin J. Steinhauser and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

From the time Steven was born he was a bright spirit with a kind soul and always focused on the good. He enjoyed all kinds of sports as a kid but also enjoyed playing the piano. He would wear his uniform to Ruth Swan's house, have his piano lesson and then on to the field. Steven was a self-employed contractor.  He enjoyed camping with the family. His best memories were hanging out with his childhood friends in Bryans Road. In his later years he enjoyed motorcycles, going to the race track and watching NHRA and NASCAR races. Steven loved his family very much.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 3 PM until time of memorial services at 5 PM.
