Sandra Kay Carlson

Sandra Kay Carlson, 51, of Marbury, MD passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 with her family by her side.  Sandie was born October 3, 1969 in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Camp Springs, MD living next door to her grandparents.  She graduated from Grace Brethren Christian School in 1987.

While working at her father’s service station, she met the love of her life Edward, at just 14 years old.  The expected troubles and hurdles of young age stood in their way for a couple of years until they began to settle down and start a family.  Sandie and Ed married August 7, 1993 in Indian Head, MD.

Sandie is survived by her dear husband, Ed, daughter Stephanie; grandchildren McKenna and Brandon; daughter Heather; grandson Niko; and son Robert, all of Charles County, MD.

Sandie loved her family and spent all her time with her family and was even a caregiver to her father-in-law.  Sandra is preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Christensen, who she missed so greatly.

The repass will be held at the Indian Head Moose Lodge on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 2:00pm.
