Sally Grimsley (nee Flynn), 87, of Bryans Road, Maryland passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025.

Sally was born August 23, 1938, in Welcome, Maryland she was the daughter of Charles Henry Flynn and Edith Rosalie (Scott) Flynn and was one of 16 children.

In 1959, she married Harvey (Berry) O'Berry Grimsley, a marriage that lasted 58 years and blessed Sally with three children, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild.

Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Berry, as well as her parents, two sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by her sons Ken Grimsley (Peggy) and Dennis Grimsley (Jennifer) and her daughter, Gail De Atley (Mike), grandchildren Ashlie Grimsley, Michael De Atley Jr (Dylnn), Isabella, Luke and Jake Grimsley, great-granddaughter Layla Sally De Atley and six sisters and three brothers and her good friend neighbor and bingo buddy Elaine Herbert.

She found great joy in family gatherings and she loved watching her grandchildren grow.  She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.  Funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Indian Head, Maryland.  Repass at the church to follow.  Interment private.

Pallbearers are Dennis Grimsley, Luke Grimsley, Jake Grimsley and Michael De Atley Jr.
