Ruth Ziegler, 88 was called home to be with her Lord and savior on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

She was the daughter of the late William Hodge and Elizabeth (George) Hodge.

With deep love and gratitude, we honor the life of Ruth. She was a sweet and gentle soul whose kindness touched everyone who knew her. Her warm heart, soft laugh, and loving nature made her a comfort to her family, friends, and even the smallest creatures.

She had a special place in her heart for cats, and they seemed to sense her compassion. Whether she was rescuing them, feeding strays, or cuddling the ones who chose her as their person, she treated every cat with the same tenderness she gave her family. Her love for animals was simply another reflection of her beautiful spirit.

Ruth is survived by her daughters Denise and Diane; son the late William "Brother"; grandchildren Miracle Howell and Elias Ziegler and many great grandchildren.
