Obituary

Rosalee Ann Younger born June 20,1962 died on Tuesday May 16,2023.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years John Younger; her daughters JessiKa "Grinder" Mix, Arieal Younger and Crystal Younger; sisters Roberta Grinder, Julie Walter, Janine Stone, Bobby Pickle and Nancy Dupont. Brothers William "Gruff" Grinder, Joe Walter, Andy Younger and Alfred Grinder. She is also survived by her grandchildren, grandsons Conrad, Whyatt and Lestat Grinder, Angelus Adams and Isaac Raub; granddaughters Trinity Younger and Kira Nichols; her nieces Leah Grinder and Emily Schmouder; her nephews Travis "Petey" Grinder, Ben Walter and Cody Schmouder. Loved ones she is joining in passing are her parents Audrey and William Grinder, mother Rita Younger and sister Donna "Dee" Wright. 

Rosalee was known to many as Pokie, to her daughter Arieal she was mousey and to her other daughter JessiKa Master Airbender Ripley. Rosalee enjoyed many things in life, as a child she formed a love of horses and spent most of her childhood taking care of and riding her horses. She was raised in the country and enjoyed the outdoors. She enjoyed activities such as fishing, skiing, boating and ice skating. She grew up with her Aunt, Dot Grimes and her children Donnie, Mike, Cindy, Mark, Hope and Brian Grimes. As an adult she enjoyed spending her time with her family, going to family's house playing dice games and enjoying time with her family. She was a creative homemaker, making clothes for herself, others and her puppy Sandy. She could turn something that was nothing into something. She also enjoyed crocheting blankets and other things. Rosalee also did a lot of gardening, playing games and baking with her daughter Arieal. 

Till her last days Rosalee had a positive and optimistic outlook on life. She was a strong woman and a warrior, those who knew her loved her. She was a kind, gentle caring soul. She helped raise her grandchildren while raising a young daughter herself. She was a great and loving wife, Her and John made an excellent team and brought together a loving blended family. She will be greatly missed and thought of everyday, she was loved and adored by all her loved ones.

The family will received friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM.  Interment Trinity Memorial Garden, Waldorf, Maryland.
