Richard "Rick" Howe Ryan, Jr.

UPDATE:  On Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 3-5 PM the family will receive friends at the funeral home.

In loving memory of Richard (Rick) Ryan who passed away on January 28, 2022, at the age of 65.

Rick worked at the Naval base in Indian Head after his graduation from Villanova University until his retirement in 2011.  He was a structural engineer and was promoted to a Supervisory Engineer.  This is where he met his wife Diane and many great friends.

Rick enjoyed spending time with his family, playing video games, watching our local sports teams, taking walks in the neighborhood (and stopping to talk to the neighbors).  Like his father, Rick would strike up a conversation with anyone he met.  He also looked forward to his January trips to Florida to visit his brother, niece and nephew.

He is survived by his wife Diane, son Chris, brother Mike, sister-in-law Beverly, brother-in-law Bucky, niece Samantha, nephews Michael and Connor and Charlie and Connor.  He was preceded in death by his father Richard Sr. and mother Margaret Ryan.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
