Richard Allan Crown, Jr. (“Richie”) went to glory with his Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, March 27, 2026. He was born in Washington, DC on August 26, 1965, to Richard Allan Crown and Dorothy Marie Vernon.
He is survived by his mother, son Nicolas Allan Crown (Amanda), sister Shelley Diedrich (Robert), brother Kirk (Sarah), grandsons Gavin and Colin and many nieces and nephews.
Richie grew up in Indian Head, Maryland where he attended school and had many lifelong friends. He was a crafted dry-wall man, and an accomplished painter of automobiles and boats. Painting artistry on expensive yachts (that took a lot of nerve!).
His final years were spent with his mother and father.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Luthern Church of Our Savior at 11 AM until time of funeral service at 12 noon. Interment following at Park Hill Cemetery, Marbury, Maryland. Repast to follow at the church.
