Raymond Howard Gue, 71, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025 in Mechanicsville, Maryland.  Raymond was born on December 28, 1953 in Washington, DC.  Raymond lived a life marked by simple pleasures and meaningful connections.

He is lovingly remembered by his son Michael. His brother Joe and sister Patricia.  Raymond lived with his nephew Tony and Tony's wife Shannon, along with his great nephew Jeremiah, whom he loved very much.  He also leaves behind nephews Hank and David and his niece Tracy.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Ethel Gue, and his siblings, Elizabeth Thompson, Joan Griffith and Rudy Gue.

Raymond found joy in the everyday tasks that brought comfort and satisfaction in painting houses, shooting pool, blowing leaves, cutting grass and then enjoying a cold beer.  These activities were more than hobbies; they were part of the rhythm of a life lived with quiet contentment.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 from 9:30 AM until time of funeral service at 11 AM.  Interment at Washington National Cemetery in Suitland, Maryland.
