Patricia “Patsy” Ann Cornell, 79, of Indian Head, Maryland, peacefully passed away on October 19, 2024.

Patsy was preceded in death by her husband John Andrew Cornell, her father William Townley Wenk, Sr.; and mother Edna M. Wenk, sister Hazel Marie Owen and brothers William Townley Wenk, Jr and Joseph Edward Wenk.  She is survived by her sisters Edna Mae Caywood and Elizabeth “Betty” Lee Mathews (Tom) and many nieces and nephews.

In her younger years, Patsy worked in the cafeteria for the Charles and Prince George’s County schools.  She enjoyed playing scratch offs and bingo.  She helped to serve the public at various churches and Potomac Heights Community center.

The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home, on
Friday, October 25, 2024,
with a viewing from 11 am - 12 pm
Prayers will be at 12 pm.  Interment to follow at the Trinity Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations in her memory be made to the Cancer Society and St Jude’s.
