Parker Hancock, 91, passed away on May 26, 2026. He was born on November 15, 1934, to Six and Elsie Hancock. He was born and raised and lived his entire life in Indian Head, Maryland.
Parker was preceded in death by his parents, his brother William Hancock and his son Daniel Hancock.
Parker is survived by his daughters Beverly Beavers (Garry) and Cindy Knott (Dennis); six grandchildren: John Heaton, Jennifer Evangelista, Brittany Beavers, Dennis Knott, Jr., Lisa Knott and Amanda Pitner; 17 great-grandchildren: Taylor, Austin, Jacob, Nick, Chase, Jacob, Samantha, Adrianna, Cody, Matthew, Tre, Daerien, Aubree, Gracelynn, Westyn, Jace and Lucy; brothers and sisters: Herbert, Alton, Marian, Comer, Betty Lou Thorne.
Parker loved to hunt, fish and crab with his brothers and close friends. He also enjoyed eating at the Lunch Box.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, June 1, 2026 from 11 AM until time of funeral service at 12 noon.
