Mildred Raby Weston

Mildred Raby Weston of Bryans Road, Maryland passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021.

She was born in Charles County Maryland to the late Arvin G. Raby and Lottie M. Saunders Raby .

Mildred was predeceased by her beloved husband, James A. Weston; her brothers Charles, William, Gene, Tracy and her sister Willa Mae.

Mildred met Jim through her cousin Vila.  They were married in the fall of 1964.

Mildred was a dedicated Christian who loved doing for others.  She attended St. James Episcopal Church in Indian Head for many years.  She was a secretary with Peoples Life Insurance Co., and also worked at the Naval Ordnance Station pass office in Indian Head.

She especially loved spending time with family and friends and was a compassionate and loving person.

She enjoyed making her infamous zucchini bread, traveling, and helping numerous people.  But most of all she loved her family, as they all meant the world to her.

Mildred is survived by her daughter Tricia Weston, and her two sons Gary Heilmeier (Susan) and Doug Heilmeier; her grandchildren Jennifer, Jason, JT, Wes, Duane, Lisa and Sandy; her sister Joyce Ann Harold ( Bob), and brothers Arvin Glenn Raby Jr (June) and John C. Raby.

A special thanks to caregivers, Ms. Lita, Marie and Brenda.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 11 AM until time of funeral services at 12 noon.  Internment Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, Maryland.
