Mikayla Allison Dwyer Obituary

Mikayla Allison Dwyer, 20, of Pomfret, MD, passed away peacefully at home in her sleep on July 14, 2019.  She would have celebrated her 21st birthday days later.


Mikayla was born on July 20, 1998.  She is survived by her parents Brian Alan Dwyer (Ali) and Jeanne Archer; her sister Jessica Brown (Jessi); and brothers Chad Brown and Brian Dwyer; and her grandmothers, Geraldine Allen and Florence Bradley along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.


She was loved by many, both family and friends.  She will be remembered for her personality and enthusiasm for life.  She loved to be funny and make people laugh.  She lived her first 11 years in Florida where she loved her gymnastics, cheerleading, and school where she was a straight “A” student.  Mikayla was extremely intelligent.  She and her family moved back to Maryland in 2010 where she continued her straight “A” academia and accomplishments at LaPlata High School.


The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday , August 6, 2019 at 5 PM until time of memorial service at 7 PM.
