Michelle Jane Carpenter Morris

Michelle Jane Carpenter Morris, 50, of Mechanicsville, MD suddenly passed away at MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown, MD on August 13, 2021.

Michelle was born August 6, 1971 in Washington, D.C. to the late Lemuel P. Carpenter and the late Betty Jean Glenn Carpenter.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Mark Sixtus Carpenter, her Father-in-Law Thomas Morris and Mother-In-Law Clara Morris.

Michelle graduated from Lackey High School.  She received her AA from Charles County Community College, a BS from Frostburg State University and a MS from University of Maryland University College.  She was employed at Smartronix, Inc. in Hollywood, MD.  Rest and relaxation for her was spending time boating, kayaking and fishing.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 17 years, Tommy Morris; siblings- Lemuel P. Carpenter, Jr. (Janet), Mary Ann Carpenter, Deborah J. Carpenter (Billy Stark), Glenn M. Carpenter (Karen), Matthew G. Carpenter (Maria); Best Friend Wendy Moeller; Sister-In-Law Annette Schemery; Brothers-In-Law, Wayne Morris and Charlie Morris; nephews- Cory Carpenter, Lemuel Carpenter and Danny Schemery and nieces- Christina Watts, Stephanie Connelly, Wendy Carpenter and Melissa Carpenter.  She is also survived by many other family and friends.

She was a loving daughter, wife, sister, aunt and friend who will be terribly missed.

Friends received on Thursday 19 August 2021, from 10 am until 12 noon when service will be held.  Masks required.

Interment immediately following at St. Charles Cemetery, Glymont, MD

Pallbearers are: Wayne Morris, Daniel Schemery, Glenn Carpenter, Matthew Carpenter, Lemuel D. Carpenter and David Watts.
