Matthew Caleb Baber
April 2, 1981- July 7, 2024
It is with great sadness we announce the death Matt Baber on July 7, 2024. Matt was born in Southern Maryland and resided in Swan Point, Maryland. Matt was an ELES Journeyman at Metro and a member of the ATU Local 689. He was a graduate of the Nashville Auto Diesel College and proceeded to work at Lexis and many other dealerships.

Matt married the love of his life, Carmen on Jan. 3, 2011. They resided in Swan Point with Mateo and Noah. Matt, Carmen and family enjoyed many trips up to the beach. Matt was known for his love of motorcycles and cars. Matt loved a party and never knew a party too small or too big. He was a lifelong fan of the Michigan Wolverines and San Francisco 49ers.

Matt enjoyed fishing and just hanging out with his friends. Matt was always the loudest at the party and enjoyed smoking meat and grilling for the parties. Matt was known for his Jeopardy style facts backed with information from Google. Matt had a larger-than-life personality that will be greatly missed.

Matt was preceded in death by his father, William Baber, grandfathers: Edwin Scott and Ralph Baber and grandmother Helen Baber.

Matt is survived by his loving wife Carmen Baber along with sons AJ, Mateo and Noah. Matt is also survived by his mother,;  Carol Baber; siblings, David (Demarie) Baber, Christina (Brad) Kirkpatrick and Steven Baber; sister-in-law Rosario (Jorge); mother-in-law Meri; father-in-law Wilfredo; grandmother Marie Scott; aunts Max and Pat; uncles Curtis, Bruce and Dan; cousins  Megan, Joanna, Jonathan, David and Michael; nieces and nephews Briana, Lucas, Thomas, Elizabeth, Josiah, Isaac, Nathanael, Hannah, Kiera, Adam, Zach, Abby, and many wonderful friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 12 PM until time of memorial service at 2 PM.
