Mary "Jeannie" Jean King Obituary

Mary Jean (Jeannie) King, 63 of Indian Head died August 19, 2020 at her home.  She was a member of the Indian Head United Methodist Church, and worked for Carefirst BC/BS for 36 years.


Jeannie was born March 4, 1957, in LaPlata, Maryland.  She was the daughter of the late Wilburt Fulk and Eda May Fulk (Sanderson).


She is preceded in death by her sister, Catherine Henderson and brother Brice Hobbs.  She is survived by her husband James M. King; sons James W. King (Chrissy) and Michael C. King (Amanda); grandchildren Ashleigh King, Austin King, Addison King, Morgan King; great-grandchild Paisley Grinder; sisters Nannie Johnson and Loretta Stritmatter and brother William Fulk (Cindy).


Pallbearers will be James King, Michael King, William Fulk, Mike Abell, Austin King, Tyler Grinder.


The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 3 PM until time of funeral service at 5 PM.  Burial will be private.  In Lieu of flowers contribution can be made to Potomac Heights Volunteer Fire Department.


We will be practicing social distancing with 50% funeral home capacity.  Everyone is required to wear a mask.
