Mark "Danny" Daniel Hart

Mark "Danny" Daniel Hart, 66, of Welcome, Maryland died February 13, 2022.

Danny is survived by his wife, Whitney; six children:  Jonathan, Cassandra and husband Justin Greene, Chloe, Patrick and wife Suzanna, Sophia and Mary Emma.  He is also survived by his mother, Dorothy Esther Hart, sisters Becky Warrington and Kay Campbell and brother Timothy.  He has many nieces and nephews including Don Campbell and Steven Campbell.  His nieces include Carrie Washington, Melissa Hart, Tina Hohenstein.

He was preceded in death by his father William Wesley Hart and brother William Hart.

Danny worked for Maryland DNR and was primarily assigned at Smallwood State Park.  He met Whitney at the park in 1980.  They married in 1988 and spent the next 34 years together.  They had six great children which he was so very proud of.  

He retired from the Park Service in 2004 and travelled across country several times with the family.  Later he worked for Southern Maryland Oil until 2012 when he had to retire due to severe asthma.  

He fully restored a historic home for his family and continued to work on the home during his retirement.  He really enjoyed working on cars.  He loved old cars, and enjoyed getting on old car websites to "window shop".  He also enjoyed woodworking, sightseeing and cooking.  He was very clever and could fix almost anything and figure out solutions to almost any household problem.  Even in the hospital, he was coaching his family in frozen pipe repair!  He was amazing!  He will be sorely missed as he was loyal and devoted.  No one will ever be able to fill his shoes.

The family will receive friends at 10 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at St. Ignatius-Chapel Point.  Interment church cemetery.
