Margaret Katherine Borawski, 96, of Indian Head, Maryland passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023. 

Marge was born December 15, 1926, in Lorain, Ohio. She was one of five children. Marge and her husband moved their family to Indian Head in 1965 where she enjoyed painting, playing golf, supporting the Indian Head Fife & Drum Corp, acting as a Saint Mary's gym instructor and lunch mom and much more. When her children were grown, she obtained a real estate license and spent many enjoyable years as an agent with Baldus Real Estate. Marge enjoyed travel with her husband and friends. She had a suitcase, passport and was ready to go at a moment's notice. Marge's greatest pleasure, treasure and priority was family. She considered both Indian Head and Lorain, Ohio to be home.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Edward Borawski.

She is survived by Michael Borawski, son, and daughter-in-law June; Michele Dunkle, daughter, and son-in-law Alex; Mark Borawski, grandson, and wife Jennifer; Laura Thayer, granddaughter, and husband Thomas; Scott Dunkle, grandson; Sarah Archer, granddaughter, and husband Austin; and great grandchildren Jordan Borawski, Camden Thayer and Madison Thayer.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 4 PM – 7 PM with prayers at 7 PM.

A mass will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023 at St. Mary Star of the Sea in Indian Head, MD at 10 AM.  Internment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD on Monday, February 13, 2023 at 10:30 AM.
