Margaret Lucille (Lucas) Tomlinson was born on July 19, 1925, on Poplar Lane in Indian Head, in the home of her parents. She is preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) Tomlinson Sr., her brothers Warren and Ralph and her sisters Thelma and Dorothy. After the loss of her husband (1980) she remained in their Bryans Road home, which they maintained for 67 years. Margaret lived her remaining years independently up to the time of her passing.
Margaret was a wife, mother and grandmother. She met her husband, while he was serving in the Marine Corps and to this date could recall her honeymoon in Key West. Probably because she said it was so hot and she got sun burned. Her apple pie was the best and she surely loved her time with her children, their spouses and grandchildren. She enjoyed having her nails polished and having her hair done.
She is survived by her children Joyce (Czeslaw), Wesley, Dennis (Jimi), Dale (Christine) and John (Cindy), 14 grandchildren (Craig, Michael (deceased), Dan, Elise, Dara, Darrin, Cody, Nick, Lindsey, Ryan, Rachael, Sherrie, Nicolette and Victoria and 15 great grandchildren Lucas, Aryelle, Shane, Berkley, Maverick, Jacob, Dakota, Matthew, Faith, CJ, Serenity, Aiden, Liam, Camden and Jackson.
Mom/Grandma passed away at her home on July 27, 2021, while being cared for by her family and devoted care givers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 30, 2021 from 3-7 PM with prayers at 6 PM.
