Kristofer Scott Thompson, age 35, is survived by his mother, Joyce Thompson, father James “Jimmy” Thompson, fiancée Ashley Taylor, one brother, the Rankins and Mozier families (extended families who considered him one of their own), and his two beloved dogs.

Scotty graduated from Lackey High School in 2007 and completed a Union Apprenticeship with Plumbers Local 5. Following his apprenticeship, he had a successful career as a plumber/foreman with W.E. Bowers.

Scotty loved hard, played hard, and worked hard. He enjoyed spending time with his dogs, fishing, kayaking, the ocean, and working out. He especially loved spending time with his family, friends, and his dogs. He was always generous with his smile, knowledge, money, and time. He was a light everywhere he went, and his memory will be a lantern for us all. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 12 PM, followed by a celebration of life service at 12:45 PM.  There will be a private burial following.
