Kenny Lee Higgs

Kenny Lee Higgs, 31, passed away August 15, 2023, peacefully in his home in Cumberland, Maryland.

Kenny was born December 23, 1991, at Civista Hospital in La Plata, Maryland to Patrick Lee Higgs and Lisa Darlene Bowie.  During his lifetime, Kenny enjoyed his time with friends and family,  also spending his free time playing video games, watching anime, writing and listening to music, but mostly spending quality time with his daughters. He was a loving and dedicated father, he
had the biggest heart and always thought the world of his girls.

Kenny Lee Higgs is survived by daughters Kira Higgs, Kylie Higgs, bonus daughter Aubrey Veilleux; mother Lisa Bowie (Jimmy Sweeney), father Patrick Higgs (Mary), grandparents James and Patricia Higgs, Roland A. Bowie; siblings Rachel Reed (Jared), Jaime Sweeney (Benny Vermillion), James Sweeney Jr, Carlee A. Higgs, Boone Higgs, Andrea Eppenaur, Austin Eppenauer  (Makenzie) and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by grandmother Betty Jean Bowie, and grandparents Margaret and Julian Sweeney.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Sweeney, Robert Sweeney, James Sweeney Jr, Daniel Largen, Tim Swann, and Mathew Simmons.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 11 AM until time of funeral services at 12 noon.

Internment Nanjemoy Baptist Church cemetery.
