Kathleen “Kathy” Atkinson, 87, passed peacefully at her home in LaPlata, MD on Tuesday June 22, 2021.  Kathy was born in England, December 6, 1933, and moved to the states after marrying.

She worked for C&P Phone Co. and later AT&T.  After retiring she kept active sewing, crocheting and baking.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years Harold “Floyd”; sons Steven and Mark; daughters Donna “Kathy” and Natasha; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

There will be a mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pomfret, MD on Thursday, July 8, 2021.  The family will receive friends at 11 AM with a mass at 12 noon.  Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
