In loving memory of Katherine E. Butler

Kathy Butler (84) of Waldorf, Maryland died Friday, October 29, 2021 at University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center, LaPlata, Maryland.  She was born on January 26, 1937 in Washington, DC.

Kathy was a lifelong caregiver.  She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She dedicated over 30 years to the Southern Maryland Hospital and Home health agency.  At times working multiple jobs to make ends meet.  But Kathy was definitely not work without play!  She spent as much time as possible with family and friends.  Enjoying life!

She loved her Baltimore Orioles even in the bad years, working in her gardens and watching “her man” Terry Labonte and all the boys run around the tracks of Nascar.  She enjoyed all of her time with her grand and great-grandchildren even her four legged ones Sir Wrinkles (RIP) mouser (RIP) Jack and the big crybaby as she called him Brutus.

Kathy is survived by; her children:  Thomas Elgin Windsor Jr., Teasha Thompson and husband Todd, Dale Windsor and wife Sheila, Paul Jenkins and wife Roselyn.

Her grandchildren Tommy and wife Heather, Holly and husband Chris, Missy Victoria and husband Michael, Corey Thomas Elgin III, Pyper and Penelope.

Her great grandchildren Edison, Wyatt, Derik, Julie, Nora, Myla, Emil, Emma and Ryder.

Siblings Ray McDonald and wife Paula, Sandy Wallace, and numerous cousins nieces and nephews

Kathy is preceded in death by parents George and Elizabeth McDonald; siblings George, Eddie, Robert, Delores, Barbra and Carlene Jenkins Windsor wife of Thomas Elgin Jr.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 5 at the funeral home.  The family will receive friends at 11 AM until time of services at 12 noon.  Internment Dentsville Cemetery,  LaPlata, Maryland.
