On March 12, 2021 Judy Lynn Knott went to be with the Lord. Judy was born on January 23, 1944 in Washington D.C. to Andrew and Marjorie Christensen. When Judy was five years old, her family moved to Indian Head, Maryland where she lived out her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters: Jean, Dolores and Donna. In 1964, Judy married her high school sweetheart, Joe Knott, and they have two sons John (Christine) and Jeff (Melinda). They have four grandchildren, Dakota, Bobby and Joseph Knott and Jakob Mullins. Judy has one remaining sister, Margie Barnes. Judy was an aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. She loved them all like they were her children. She loved the Lord and her family with all of her heart, and she had a big heart always willing to give and do for her family, friends and strangers.
Judy was baptized in St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Washington D.C. and became a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Indian Head and Bryans Road and later became a member at Grace Lutheran Church in LaPlata, MD. She was very active in both churches, as a Sunday school teacher, secretary, financial secretary, usher and Christ Care leader.
