Joan Marie Griffith, 68, of Indian Head, Maryland passed away Wednesday November 5, 2025.

Joan was born September 3, 1957 in Washington, DC to Ralph and Ethel (Gue) Gray. 

She loved being with her family and sharing the holidays.  She married Charles E. Griffith in 1989.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Ethel (Gue) Gray; her husband Charles E. Griffith; her brother Rudy Gue, and her sister Elizabeth Gue.

She is survived by her son, David (Thomas) Woelk of Lake Station and daughter Tracy (Chris) Griffith of Ridge; four grandchildren, Sara, Keith, Melina, Neil; two brothers, Joe Gue and Raymond Gue, and sister, Patricia Stonestreet; and many dear friends and other relatives.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 3 PM, until time of funeral services at 5 PM.  Burial will take place at a later date at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
