Jerry Neu, 81, passed away April 16, 2023, in Fort Washington Maryland. He was born June 30, 1941, in Evansville, Indiana. He was the son of Albert and Versal Neu.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, his daughter Patti Rembish, and sisters Pat Harer and Marybeth Koch.
He is survived by his daughter Wendy Comstock (Chris), Lisa Neu, Shawn Neu (Rachel), grandson Baily Neu, (Jamie Michelle), great grandson Felix Neu and grandson Brandon Willett, sisters Judy Cochran (Carl) Ruby Owens (Dave), son-in-law Bucky Rembish and many other nieces and nephews.
Jerry retired from Washington Suburban Sanitation Commission in Accokeek, Maryland as a plant supervisor. Jerry loved everything nature. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and frog gigging. He was an avid deer hunter. He also would pickle herring caught in local streams here in Maryland. He enjoyed planting gardens, with a variety of vegetables to can and freeze. Jerry had many cats and dogs over the years. He rooted for one team the Washington Redskins. He loved westerns. He was a road runner, he loved to get in his truck driving to his favorite spots, visiting, and
socializing with friends.
As Jerry’s health declined, he enjoyed time with his family and the companionship of his caregiver Maria. Jerry was a member of the Moose, Eagles and The Hunt Club in Nanjemoy, Maryland.
