Jean Gans Obituary

In loving memory,
Jean Marie Gans. Loving wife, mother, and grandmother peacefully passed away at her home January 12, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. Jean was born and raised in Washington DC where she met and fell in love with the love of her life and best friend Victor Gans. During the course of fifty-three years together they devoted their lives by offering their best to their children, grandchildren, and Jehovah God. As a Matriarch she was an example of Proverbs 31:28 for she enjoyed doing any and all things with her family (going on family trips, sharing Jehovah’s word, and going to spiritual meetings and assemblies).

Jean is survived by her husband Victor Gans, her four children; Regina, Stacee, Jason and Steven Gans, and eight grandchildren she adored; Vincent, Stacy, Stephanie, Stewerd, Justise, Cayce, Victor and Paige Gans. Along with many other loved ones who were apart of her heart.

While she will be missed, Jean Gans will always be in the memory of both her family and Jehovah God for the LOVE, WISDOM, and STRENGTH she gave. As believers of the bible, we appreciate that we will see her again. John 5:28, 29 tells of a resurrection that will take place stating: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” Revelations 21:3, 4 states: “With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” We as her family
will be waiting for the time when death will be no more and we can see our loving wife, mother and grandmother again.
