We are rejoicing with the “Home Going” of Jane M. Headley on Monday, September 15, 2025.  Jane was born on April 5, 1944, in La Plata, Maryland.

She was preceded in death by her mother Thora May Pendergraft and her father Foy Pendergraft, husband John H. Headley, son Thomas H. Headley II.  Jane is survived by son John P. Headley (Donna Headley), daughter Carrie M. Heselius (Cody Heselius), brother-in-law James E. Headley (Joan Headley), 7 grandchildren, 4 great granddaughters and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.

Funeral will be held at Independent Baptist Church (9255 Piscataway Road, Clinton, MD 20735) on Thursday September 25, 2025, at 12:00 PM. Burial will take place at Trinity Memorial Gardens (3221 Mattawoman Beantown Rd, Waldorf MD 20601).  There will be a time of fellowship after the burial in Sarah Greathouse Hall located at Independent Baptist Church.

Jane accepted the Lord Jesus as a young adult and faithfully served her Lord with all her heart.  Family and friends knew her as a loving and generous mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend who would often open her heart and home to those in need.  She loved kitty cats, especially her “attack cat” Mr. Fuzzy who she raised from a feral stray. She loved to shop, but rarely for herself, she always had gifts for family, friends, and visitors.
