James "Jimmy" M. King
Obituary
James (Jimmy) M. King, 76, of Indian Head, Maryland passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 at his home.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, and worked as a master plumber before retiring. After retiring he enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.
Jimmy was born July 16, 1946, in Washington D.C. He was the son of the late James W. King and Aslee Deese King.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Jean (Jeannie) King, and his brother, Billy Smith. He is survived by his sons James W. King (Chrissy) and Michael C. King (Amanda);
grandchildren Ashleigh King, Austin King, Addison King, and Morgan King; great-grandchildren Paisley and Luke Grinder; sister Sandra K. Farrall. Step grandchild Bryan Weeks.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 3 PM until time of service at 5 PM. Burial will be private. In Lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Potomac Heights Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad Auxiliary.
