Obituary
James David Langley, Sr. “David”, 73, of LaPlata, Maryland, died on Thursday, August 31, 2023. He was born on September 25, 1949.
David is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Mary; children David Jr, Libby, Tonya {Glen}, Ricky {Mylissa} and Stacey. 16 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchilren and a host of nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
David is predeceased by his parents Joseph Langley, Jr. and Lillie Mae Gamble Langley. He was also predeceased by his brother Joseph {Eddie} and sisters Dorothy Hayden, Virginia Boarman and Mary Jean Matthews.
David enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved all of his animals and definitely had many throughout the years. His two current little dogs Alladin & Jasmine will miss cuddling up next to him every night. The family would like to send a special thank you to each person that spent quality time visiting with him during his illness.
David was self-employed heavy equipment operator and dump truck services. He enjoyed bird watching, playing guitar, watching Gunsmoke and smoking cigarettes.
The family will receive frinds at the funeral home on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 2 PM until time of funeral services at 4 PM.
