Elizabeth "Aunt Betty" June Plante

Elizabeth June Plante, age 81, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 17, 2019.  She was born, June 1, 1937 in Piscataway, MD to the late Richard and Estelle Jenkins. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, 3 sisters, 1 brother, and several nieces and nephews.  She was the oldest of five generations.

Elizabeth is survived by a sister and a son.  Also left to remember her are 3 nephews and their families, 9 great nieces and nephews, 13 great, great nieces and nephews and 7 great, great, great nieces and nephews.

She was known as "Aunt Betty" to all.  For such a tiny person she had the biggest heart.  If you knew her, then you knew she was a feisty, stubborn, little lady.  She enjoyed talking to everyone, wherever she went.  She also loved her soap operas and anything and everything Elvis.

She will be missed by many friends and neighbors and we thank you for your thoughtfulness to her over the years.  She was especially fond of Eddie and Gail Van Cleaf and their visits, with yummy goodies.

Aunt Betty will be missed by William Collier, Kionna Collier and Jenny Collier, as they shared a very special relationship with her.  Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.  Services and interment are private.
