Edward (Eddie) Malcolm Claggett passed away on September 12, 2024 at the age of 82 in LaPlata, Maryland.

Edward retired from a fulfilling career as a Driver Operator Firefighter from 1967 - 1992, at the Navel Ordnance Station in Indian Head, Maryland.

Edward loved camping at Morgantown, Maryland, year round for 25 years. Surrounded by lots of family and friends. Edward was preceded in death by his parents William and Mary (Sanders) Claggett. Also his brothers Stephen Claggett and Thomas Claggett. He is survived by his daughter Shelly Hartnett (David) and daughter Robin Claggett. Grandchildren Danielle (Hartnett) Thorp (Jimmy), Matthew Hartnett and Catherine Best. Edward also had two great grandchildren Waylon Thorp and Grayson Thorp. His brother Russell (Sarah) Claggett, nephews Stephen Claggett (Susan) and Thomas Claggett and niece Cathy (Claggett) Ruffin (Richard). With lots of great nephews and nieces.

Edward was loved by his family and friends.
