Diana Fazenbaker Farley, 77 of Indian Head, Maryland died April 27, 2025. She was born on May 25, 1947, in Lonaconing, Maryland.
She married Frederick Eugene (Gene) Farley on September 17, 1966. They started their time together in Riverdale, then moved to Waldorf, where they lived for 48 years, until 2018 when they moved to Indian Head to be closer to their daughter and her family.
Diana is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Gene. Her daughter Donna (Ted) Krauel. Her grandchildren Megan Farley, T.J., and Shelby Krauel. Her sister Cathy (Jim) Kerr as well as her
niece, nephew and 2 great Grandsons.
Diana owned and operated Farley’s Family Daycare for 35 years. During her 35 years of running the Farley’s Family Daycare, she enjoyed being known as Nana to the numerous children that were under her care. She also enjoyed crafts which included knitting and sewing blankets, making Christmas ornaments, as well as bibs and blankets for babies. She enjoyed being able to give these crafts out to people she held close, as well as selling them at local crafts fairs.
Services and interment, private. In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to: Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy., Pasadena, MD 21122.
