In Loving Memory of Connie A. Murphy

With love in our hearts and sorrow in our souls, we share that Connie A. Murphy passed away peacefully on Friday, September 26, 2025, surrounded by her family’s love. 

Born on July 4, 1961, to Paul Thorne and the late Patricia Thorne, Connie was the oldest of six children and a natural caregiver from the very beginning.

On October 3, 1980, she married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Patrick Murphy. Together they built a beautiful life filled with laughter, love, and family. Connie is survived by her devoted husband Patrick and their two sons, Shawn Murphy and Matthew Murphy. She was a proud Nonnie to two grandsons, who were the melody of her heartbeat. 

Connie loved to travel, and if you mentioned the word beach, she’d have the car packed before you could decide which swimsuit to bring. Wherever she and Pat went, you could count on the boys—and their dog Rosie—joining the adventure. 

Connie was a soul of quiet strength and boundless compassion. Her presence was a blessing to all who knew her—gentle, gracious, and deeply nurturing. She believed in the power of love, family, and simple kindness, and she expressed those values in everything she did.

To know Connie was to be embraced by her warmth. Whether through a shared meal, a thoughtful word, or simply her listening ear, she touched countless lives with her unwavering support and unconditional love. Her laughter—vibrant, joyful, and contagious—will forever echo in our memories as a reminder of the joy she brought into this world.

Connie’s legacy of love, compassion, and joy lives on in every life she touched.
