Clifford "Cliff" N. Smith

Clifford N. Smith, Sr., 69, a longtime resident of Faulkner, Maryland, was called home to be with the Lord on February 11, 2022.

Cliff was born on September 10, 1952, in Washington D.C., to Nancy Adams and Richard Smith. Cliff was a graduate of Central High School in Seat Pleasant, Maryland.  He had a long career as a locksmith, safe technician and security controls specialist with SafeMasters and Stanley Security Solutions.

Cliff served in the Army National Guard as a Mechanic from 1972-1976. He was part of a very large family that he loved spending time with, along with his favorite hobbies playing guitar, camping, fishing, hunting, and you could always find him tinkering in his garage repairing electronics and equipment. Cliff was known for his good heart, kindness, compassion for others and infectious laugh.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Adams; two sons Clifford Smith, Jr. and Travis Smith; brothers, James Smith, Cecil Adams, and sister, Deloris Long.

Cliff is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Lois Smith; daughter Sophia Smith, stepdaughters, Tina Crampton, Corine Gilroy and husband Rusty, Priscilla Berkeley and husband Allen, stepson, Matthew Zagrodnichek and wife Megan. Grandchildren: Ashley Prandini, Andie Prandini, Camdon Dover, Mason Dover, Alex Smith, Jada Gregg, Kyle Reynolds, Dominic Crampton, Aubrey Crampton, Mercedez Gilroy, Jordan Gilroy, Kaytlin Gilroy, Nash Zagrodnichek, Waylen Zagrodnichek, Austin Berkeley, Carter Berkeley, Allie Berkeley.  Great Grandchildren: Ethan Lopez, Ripley Ellen, Locklynn Rider. He was also survived by his brothers and sisters: Louis Smith, Jeff Adams, Robert Adams, Jennie Delvechio, Michelle Draper, Margaret Estes, Ronald Adams and Charlie Adams.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 11 AM until time of service at 12 noon.  Military honors at 1 PM.
