Charles “Mike” Michael Abell, 66, of Pisgah, Maryland, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025 after a full life of getting it done one way or another.

Mike was born on February 9, 1959 to Charles and Jean Abell.  He was raised on the same property he leaves behind.  He often reminisced of times with this father spent raising hogs and cutting down trees and his mother’s unmatched love throughout his early childhood.  His grandfather was a best friend to him teaching him to hunt and fish there or around the county.

After becoming a welder by trade Mike lived as big of a life as he could imagine.  He loved hunting, fishing, Harley’s, Fords and most importantly everything Lynyrd Skynyrd stood for.  He was proud of his freedom and never let someone put him down.  At one time there wasn’t a biker bar where he didn’t know someone, an opening week of shotgun season missed, or a year that went by without attending at least one concert or bike week.

Mike is predeceased by his mother, father, nephew Kenneth Shawn Abell, grandfather Charles Russel Abell and brother Ronald Stephen Abell.  He is survived by his son Dylan and his golden retriever Charlie.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 11 AM until time of funeral services at 1 PM.
