Cecil Wade Grigsby

Cecil Wade Grigsby, 64 of Bryans Road, MD, died on July 24, 2019.  He was born on October 12, 1954.  He was the son of the late Alton Grigsby and Evelyn Mae (Penn) Grigsby.

He is survived by his children; Teri Grigsby and Matthew Grigsby of Bryans Road, MD; his grandchildren Evelyn and Tyler; his brother Bill Alton Grigsby of Ocean City, MD; his sisters Shirley E. Chaney of Carrollton, GA, June A. Garrett, Welcome, MD, Aretta J. Luskey of Myrtle Beach, SC, Ginger B. Barron of Port Tobacco, MD and Bertha L. Rector of Fredericksburg, VA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Cecil was a kind person, had a friendly personality and enjoyed talking with all his customers and friends at the Safeway store. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing golf.  He was a produce manager and registration clerk. 

Services and internment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Charles County Human Society (in love of his dog).
