Bruce Graham, 66, passed away on December 14, 2025, in Arlington, Virginia. Born on April 17, 1959, in Baltimore, Maryland. Bruce lived a life marked by dedication to his craft, deep love for his family, and an unmistakable presence that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Bruce graduated from Mount Vernon High School in Alexandria, Virginia. He later pursued specialized training at the Air Conditioning Contractors of America trade school, where he honed the skills that would define his professional life. Over the years, Bruce worked for many HVAC companies as a technician and was especially proud of his time with CroppMetcalfe. Known for his extensive knowledge in the HVAC trade, Bruce earned recognition as a top salesman on multiple occasions—a testament to both his technical expertise and his personable nature.
Before embarking on his civilian career, Bruce served honorably in the United States Army and achieved the rank of E4 Corporal. His military service reflected the same values that guided him throughout his life: discipline, ambition, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Bruce had a wide range of passions that brought him joy and connected him with others. A devoted fan of rock music, he loved attending concerts and immersing himself in the energy of live performances. He was also an enthusiastic supporter of Washington’s sports teams—the Redskins (now Commanders), Capitals, and Nationals—and rarely missed a chance to cheer them on. His favorite television show was "River Monsters," which spoke to his adventurous spirit and curiosity about the world.
A lifelong fan of Marvel and DC comics and classic video games, Bruce found joy in stories of heroism and nostalgia. These interests often sparked lively conversations with friends and family alike.
Above all else, Bruce cherished time spent with those he loved. He is survived by his wife Elsa Graham; sons Steven (Alex) Graham (wife Anna) and Carlos Mendez; daughter Stephanie Kullman; grandchildren Derek Mendez, Bethanie Scherr (and family), Alexander (Xander) Kullman, and Oliver (Ollie) Kullman; brother Joseph (Scott) Graham (wife Christian); sister Marjorie Graham (and family); brothers Albert Muyshondt (and family) and Paul Muyshondt (and family).
He was preceded in death by his son Eric Graham; father Richard C. Graham; mother Betty Graham; and brother Brian Graham.
Those who knew Bruce remember him as a fiery soul who made his presence known wherever he went—someone who lit up every room with energy and charisma. He was hardworking and ambitious, always striving for excellence while ensuring that those closest to him were included in life's joys. Whether through laughter at a concert or cheering during a game night at home, Bruce created memories that will be treasured forever. All who knew him also knew he loved his beloved dog, Cosita.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire strength and warmth in their hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lutheran Church of Our Savior located at 7365 Indian Head Highway, Bryans Road, MD 20616.
