She departed this life in the comfort of her home in Indian Head, Maryland, where she lived with her devoted daughter, Vicki Bowling, who lovingly cared for her for over a year and delighted in spoiling her every day. Beverly was also surrounded in her final days by William Bowling, Vicki’s former husband, whose steady presence and compassion brought her great comfort.
Born on October 10, 1943 in Washington DC, Beverly devoted her life to raising her children and building a warm, loving home alongside her late husband, Thomas Lawrence Williams Sr. (“Buckey”). Together, they created a family rooted in strength and deep affection. Beverly lived a life defined by compassion, resilience, and a deep devotion to the people she loved. Beverly had a long lost sister Gloria Wells. Among her children, Beverly shared an especially deep and lifelong bond with her daughter Laurie Williams. For 60 years, Laurie was a constant presence in her mother’s life, someone Beverly cherished deeply, protected fiercely, and always made sure was taken care of. Their connection was one of profound love, devotion, and mutual comfort, and it remained close to Beverly's heart throughout her life.
Beverly lived a life filled with simple joys and heartfelt connections. She loved playing Bingo, watching her favorite TV shows, spending time with her friends, and listening to the Statler Brothers. She adored anything Mickey Mouse and enjoyed collecting snow globes. In her later years, she took great pride in the compliments she received about how young she looked and how beautiful she was. She loved singing along to her favorite playlist, and her radiant smile had a way of lighting up any room she entered.
During her years with her companion, Douglas Gardinier, Beverly lived life to the fullest. Together they enjoyed fishing, boating, and taking memorable trips to Chincoteague and Cowtown — adventures she cherished deeply.
To many, Beverly was lovingly known as “Mimi.” She cared and babysat for countless neighborhood children over the years, forming bonds that lasted a lifetime and she never forgot about them. Beverly's presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will remain with us in the stories we tell, the lessons she taught us, the laughs she brought us and the love she gave so graciously. She will always be remembered by the family as saying she "Loved us to the moon and back". This will always be a reminder of the unconditional love she had for all her family.
Pallbearers will be William Bowling Sr., John Boudreaux, Christopher Williams, A.J. Allen Smith Jr., L.J. Larry Willett Jr., and Brendan Williams.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 11:00 AM until time of services at 12 PM. Interment will take place afterward at Nazarene Cemetery, Pisgah, Maryland.
Beverly’s presence will be deeply missed, but her love, her laughter, and her beautiful smile and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Her legacy is one of devotion, kindness, and a lifetime of cherished memories. May she rest in peace.
