Audrey Estelle (Sanders) Rye Obituary
Audrey Estelle Sanders Rye, 94, of Indian Head, MD passed away on June 23, 2019 at Sagepoint Senior Living in LaPlata, MD. Audrey was born on October 12, 1924 to the late Lucy Lee and Robert Xavier Sanders.
Audrey was proceeded in death by her husband Ellsworth M. Rye, daughters Carolyn Foster and Theresa Cargill, son-in-law Tom Clements and six siblings. She is survived by sons: Ronnie (Charlene) Vincent, John (Vesna) and daughter Donna Clements, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and her sister Marilyn Gilroy.
She loved playing bingo, senior trips and going camping with friends and family.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 6 PM to 8 PM with prayers at 7 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Star of The Sea Catholic Church, Indian Head, MD on Friday June 28, 2019 at 10 AM. Interment St. Charles Cemetery,
