It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ashley Marie Wedding, beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend who departed this life on March 26, 2025 at the age of 36. 

Born on July 21, 1988 in La Plata MD, Ashley brought joy to all that knew her.  Ashley's bold spirit allowed her to walk with confidence and courage leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. We all will remember her loudness and a laugh that could echo for miles. 

She is survived by her two beautiful children, Brian L. Edwards III and Mya M. Edwards, her father Gary M. Williams, her sister Shannon N. Holton, her partner Bruce Robinson, and a host of family and friends who loved her deeply. She is preceded in death by her mother Jacqueline M. Wedding. 

Ashley's life was filled with everlasting moments that defined joy, humor, love, strength, and resilience. Even through the trials of her life, Ashley's vibrant personality always shined. She was a fighter with a soul that could set fire to an iceberg. 

Ashley loved singing, dancing, and journaling. We all know how expressive she was with her words! Her happy place was anywhere there was water, especially a beach. She would say that it allowed her to get quiet with her thoughts and talk to Jesus. 

Her legacy will live on in the laughter of her children, the memories shared among loved ones, and the countless lives she touched along the way.

A celebration of her life will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, April 13, 2025.  Family and close friends are welcomed from 10 AM until time of memorial service at 12 PM. 

She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
