Arlene Walko

Arlene Walko passed away peacefully in her home.  She was the daughter of the late Paul Milliner and late Madge Mason.  She married the love of her life, the late James “Big Mike” Walko of Indian Head.  She was the proud mother of Michael “Little Mike” and Tammy Walko.   She was a twin sister to the late James “Big Jim” Milliner.  She also leaves behind two beautiful grandchildren, Brooke and Macey, her sister Paula Rae and husband Billy, as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Arlene was the President and COO of her own successful Consulting business before officially retiring.  She had over 41 years of government and private industry experience supporting the DOD.  Throughout her career she had many accolades and awards but, more importantly to her, were the friendships she developed over the years.  She was a kind, loving, outgoing and devoted Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend that is loved & respected by so many.  She enjoyed spending time with family & friends, trips to the casinos and playing with her dog Prince.

The family wishes to honor her request with a private ceremony.  In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations can be made to Bryans Road Volunteer Fire Department & Rescue Squad for their never-ending support at their time of need and where her son Mike has volunteered for over 30 years.
