Anna Marie Funk, 91 of Bryans Road, Maryland joined our Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 14, 2026. She was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on February 13, 1935.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Rusinko, mother, Mary Chomko Rusinko, sister, Helen Rusinko Zekanoski, husband Frank Funk Sr., daughter, Melody (Charlie) Sutherland and grandson, Michael Benenati.

She is survived by her children, Frank Funk, Barbara (Kevin (D)) Brunet, John (Libby) Funk, Joe (Kathy) Funk, Kathy (John) Propes, Mariann (Rick) Marsalek and Diana (Gary) Benenati; grandchildren Christina (Bill), Bobby, Danny, Bryan, Heather, Dillon, Alissa (Matt), Alexis, Griffin, and Kayla (Josh); and great grandchildren Brookelynn, Destiny, Alannah, Dixie, Robert, Mia, Noah and Kolton.

Ann was a homemaker, bartender and waitress. Ann was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was the heart of the family and loved spending time with her family and friends! She enjoyed traveling, ceramics and other activities at the senior center, along with outings with the Red Hatters.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the funeral home starting at 10:00 AM until time of memorial service at 12:00 PM/noon. A celebration of life after the service will be held at the Moose Lodge, 11 Moose Lodge Way, Indian Head, MD 20640. In lieu of flowers please donate to Star of the Sea Church 30 Mattingly Ave E, Indian Head, MD 20640 in memory of Anna Funk.
