Allan Douglas Wright

Allan Douglas Wright, 72, of Charlotte Hall, Maryland died on July 18, 2022.

Allan was born on May 31, 1950 to Elbert Wright and Eileen Wright.

He is proceeded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Donna Wright and son-in-law Ervin Ransome.

He is survived by his brother John Wright (Donna Wright); sister, Cande Wright; children, Bridget Johnson (Steve Johnson), Mandi Ransome (Ervin Ransome), Derek Wright (Nichole Wright), Jenna Shall (Greg Shall); niece, Anjela Barnes-Alban; nephews, George Oliver Gray & Michael Wright; grandchildren, Branden Murphy, Alexa Ransome, Kiera Ransome, Damon Ransome, Ervin Ransome Jr, Ava Wright, Brady Wright, Camryn Shall, Preston Shall, & Carson Shall.  Last, but not least, his precious basset hound, Bella.

Allan was Maintenance Supervisor for Pepco/GenOn.  Allan enjoyed racing, hunting, coaching Little League baseball & softball, Keno, whiskey & scotch, NCIS, and war documentaries.

Our Father meant the world to us, and we meant the world to him.  He was a very caring man who would always put others before himself.  Our "Mr. Fix It", our "Coach", our "Mechanic", our "Mr. Take it all apart just to see if I can put it back together", but mostly our Father who was always there when we needed him.  As we grieve and learn how to live without you, we find peace in knowing that you are no longer in pain.  Rest in heavenly peace, Daddy.

The family will receive friends at the Marbury Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 3 PM until time of memorial services at 5 PM.  With repast to follow.
