Allan Scott Pulliam passed away on July 24, 2020 surrounded by his family at his home in Indian Head, Maryland. He was born on November 12, 1943, in Marshall Hall, Maryland to the late Judson H. and Gertrude L. Pulliam.
He is also preceded in death by his siblings Louise Cantor, Earl Pulliam, Johnny Pulliam, Sarah Fox, and Ida Mae Wood.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Karen L. Pulliam (Nelson), his son Allan E. Pulliam, his daughter-in-law, Karen M. Pulliam and grandson Brandon K. Pulliam of Mechanicsville, Maryland. He is also survived by his siblings George Pulliam and Thelma Boarman and numerous nieces and nephews.
Allan worked at the Naval Base in Indian Head for many years as an electrician. He loved fishing, crabbing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by many. May he rest in peace for eternity.
Viewing and services will be held at Grace Baptist Church in Bryans Road, Maryland on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM. Internment will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, Maryland.
Pallbearers will be Allen E. Pulliam, Brandon Pulliam, Pete Pulliam, Butch Nelson, Ronnie Strickland, and Tommy Wood.
