My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this heartbreaking time. I worked with Lt. Budd many years on base in Security Department and was proud to call him my friend. He a genuinely good, nice, and caring man.

To the entire Budd Family - My condolences on the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather. I saw Mr. Budd every morning for many years as the crossing guard at the very busy intersection of Route 6 and Radio Station Road. He was pleasant to all and always had a smile and a wave to every passerby. I came to know him personally thru my friendship with his daughter Cindy, and I feel fortunate to have known him these past 8 years. The love for his wife and family has always been evident to those of us who were lucky enough to witness it and he will be missed by all who came to know him, including myself and my daughters. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. May you find peace in his comfort now. With sorrow, Dawn
