Tammy Marie Sorber

Tammy Marie Sorber of LaPlata, Maryland passed away suddenly at the age of 39 in the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland on Thursday, November 29, 2018 with her family at her side. 

Tammy was born on November 23, 1979 in Clinton, Maryland.  She worked as a bartender at the White Plains Moose Lodge. Tammy was a loving mother to her daughter and she was her world.

She is survived by her daughter, Samantha Best, her father and stepmother, Mike and Debbie Clower, brother, Christopher Clower, stepsisters Jennifer Portzen and Kristi Besseck, nieces Makalya and Peyton Clower, and nephew Bentley Clower and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Tammy was very close to her Uncle Bill and Aunt Cora Sorber.  Tammy was preceded in death by her mother, Loretta Clower, grandparents Charles and Anna Sorber and Thomas and Inez Clower. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 10 AM  until time of service at 12 PM.  Interment Smithville Methodist Church Cemetery, Dunkirk, Maryland.
