Stephen Edward Faycheck

Stephen Edward Faycheck, age 64, of Marbury, MD passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in LaPlata, MD.  He was born on August 3, 1952 in Washington, D.C. and raised in Forestville, MD.  He was the son of the late Edward and Katherine Faycheck.  He went to Suitland High School in Suitland MD.  He went to work at Trailways after graduating.  He then became a moving man until graduating from Lincoln Tech in Heating and Air Conditioning.  He was a maintenance engineer for apartment complexes until retiring on disability in the late 90’s.

Stephen loved making up poems, playing chess, card games and board games with his nieces and nephews.  While growing up, he enjoyed riding bikes, going to the beach, and hanging with his many friends.  He loved to listen to music, books on tape, and talk shows.  He also loved talking to his family and friends every day.

Stephen is survived by his sister, Jenny Boswell; brothers-in-law, Sam Boswell and John Buck; nieces:  Amanda (Aaron) Michael, Melissa Boswell, Michelle Buck, Lauren (Justin) Trilli; nephews:  Christopher Buck, Jason (Kristin) Boswell; seven grand nieces and nephews:  Daphne Boswell, Jacob Boswell, John Boswell, Austin Michael, Brayden Michael, Carter Trilli, Landon Trilli; aunts:  Mary Ellen Shields and Cheryl Faycheck; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Buck; mother, Katherine Faycheck; father, Edward Faycheck.

We will have a memorial service at the Indian Head United Methodist Church, 19 Mattingly Ave., Indian Head, MD 20640 on Saturday, April 29 at 11:00 AM.  A luncheon will follow at the Church.  The interment will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 at a grave side service at the St. Gregory Cemetery in Erie, PA next to his parents.
