Louise 'Lois' Jean McCoy

Louise  'Lois' McCoy went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 1, 2018.  Lois was born in Coeburn, Virginia on October 22, 1948 to the late Roosevelt and Maggie Collins.  She was educated in Coeburn public schools. 

Lois leaves behind fond memories.  In addition to her parents she is proceeded in death by her first husband George Bowie Sr., three sisters Glinis Sluss, Inez Rogers, Juanita Henderson, one brother Felton Collins and one son Daniel McCoy Jr.  She is survived by her husband Daniel McCoy Sr., one sister Ann Clark, four brothers Harold Collins, Lowell Collins, Donald Collins and Alan Collins, six children George Bowie Jr. (Linsey), Gordon Bowie (Monica), Tony Bowie (Connie), Leroy Bowie, Kevin McCoy (Teree); ten grandchildren Starr Matthews, Cheyenne Bowie, James Bowie, Jeremy Bowie, Kassidy Bowie, Kaitlyne Mills, Miranda Bowie, Noah Bowie, Andrew McCoy and Madi McCoy; and three great-grandchildren Brannon and Zoie Haddock and Kaleb Mills. 

Lois enjoyed cooking, gardening and mostly spending time with family and friends.  The family wishes, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to Hospice of Charles County.
